2. The font size of characters should be in Arial 11 and all text should be single-spaced with left and right justified.

3. All manuscripts are limited to 8-10 single–spaced pages, including the Title, abstract, text, figures, tables and references.

4. Title:

The title should appear in bold letters in 12 font size without underlining, centered near the top of the first page of the paper. The title should be followed by author’s name, address, email id, telephone and fax numbers. Corresponding author’s name should be indicated.

5. Abstract:

Left aligned in bold capital letters followed by the title. Please write a concise one-paragraph abstract (limited to 300 words).

6. Key Words: Left aligned in bold letters with 3 or 4 words.

7. Leave one blank line under abstract and type main text single-spaced, with one blank line between paragraphs and headings. Start paragraphs with left alignment.

8. Type major headings or chapter headings with left alignment, in bold capitals without underlining. Major headings should be on a separate line between two single blank lines.

9. Type subheadings with left alignment in, Title Case. Subheadings are on a separate line between two single blank lines.

10. Decimal numbers may be given to headings. (e.g. 1. major heading, 1.1. Subheading, 1.1.1. Subsubheadings)

11. References should be cited in the text, and listed in alphabetical order in the reference section and follow the standard procedure (Journal of the Geological Society of India pattern recommended).

12. Figures, Photographs and Tables:

Figures, Photographs can be accepted in standard format. Figures and Tables are to be numbered in their respective order, e.g. Figure 1, Table 1, Figure 2, Figure 3, Table 2, …

13. FULL PAPER SUBMISSION

The author should send two copies of the manuscript printed / typed on A4 paper sheets with the format mentioned above.

The author should also send one digital copy of the manuscript in a 1.44 MB floppy disk or CD-ROM.
